The First Post

I'm not really sure how I'm supposed to start a blog...what's the proper method? I don't know. So I'll just start with the current. Last night I knitted for 6 hours, desperately trying to finish a scarf I've been working on for the past two months. The scarf is for my boyfriend for Christmas. It's a gorgeous cabled scarf that looks almost braided called Burberry-esque Cabled Scarf. I absolutely love the way it looks,  but I am not so fond of the energy it takes to make. Unfortunately for me, everyone around me has fallen in love with it as much as I originally did, and now they all want one. Oh bother. Anyway, I knit it using Cascade 128 in a black and white blend. I (thank goodness!!) only have about 5 rows left. I'll post pics soon!
